Cameron Bynum is the development assistant at the ACLU of North Carolina.
Prior to their work at the ACLU-NC, Cameron served as a Program Center Manager at Ruffalo Noel Levitz where they worked with their alma mater, UNC-Chapel Hill, and other universities to raise donations to support student financial aid, medical research, and philanthropic organizations on campus.
Previously Cameron had worked with the Campus Y, UNC’s center for social justice, as a Bonner Senior Intern where they oversaw a group of work-study students to provide support to local nonprofits working in the areas of social justice, childhood hunger, and literacy in the Chapel Hill area.
Cameron uses both they/them and she/her pronouns. They are passionate about racial equity, criminal justice reform, gender equality, and spoken word poetry.
