Durham: Assembly, Protest, and Shared Spaces

ACLU of North Carolina Executive Director Karen Anderson will join international scholars and Duke faculty and administrators for a one-day public conference exploring the tensions between free speech, academic freedom and campus civility and community on March 1.

Anderson will speak on the Assembly, Protest and Shared Spaces panel alongside Benjamin Reese, Duke vice president of institutional equity, moderator; Luke Bretherton, Duke Divinity School; Zareena Grewal, Yale University; and Michael Sorrell, Duke alumnus and president of Paul Quinn College in Dallas.

The event is free but registration is required. Register by Monday, February 26, or until full.
