Join us for a virtual court watching training in partnership with the YWCA Central Carolinas. The training will cover briefly what is bail and what the problem with it is and why we are court watching to ensure that everyone has a baseline understanding of the issues.
Update: This training has been postponed. A new date will be announced soon.
Join our Western NC Chapter and Carolina Jews for Justice for a screening of The Repor tat A-B Tech in Asheville. The Report is a film based on true events following the investigation into the CIA’s use of torture previously hidden from the American public.
Join us, members of the NC Fines and Fees Coalition, and the Aspen Institute Financial Security Program for the People’s Convening on Fines and Fees in NC. The convening will provide a space for conversations on how to end criminal justice debt and current practices.
The NC NAACP, along with coalition partners, will gather in Raleigh for the 14th Annual Moral March on Raleigh & HKonJ People’s Assembly. Join us in demanding equal rights and civil rights for all North Carolinians.
