House Bill 805 includes multiple provisions targeting transgender and nonbinary communities, as well as schools, in the state. These provisions include:
- Forcing trans people to out themselves in situations where a birth certificate is needed
- Creating rigid definitions of sex and gender in state law
- Extending the time for medical malpractice suits for gender affirming care in an attempt to intimidate providers
- Banning gender affirming care for people in the custody of the Department of Adult Correction
