Carolina Migrant Network’s (CMN) core mission is to provide legal services for individuals in removal proceedings. We provide legal education on the US immigration System and empower immigrant communities to participate in everyday and civic life. We envision a world of empowered, self-determined, organized communities free from fear of family separation.
Casa Azul de Wilson provides a home base for Eastern NC’s Latinx families to feel valued so that they may own their power and ascend in their educational, leadership and civic pursuits. We build community through culturally affirming events, programs and, campaigns that allow us to celebrate our complex and diverse identities.
The North Carolina Coalition for Alternatives to the Death Penalty is a statewide coalition of member organizations and individuals committed to ending the death penalty and creating a new vision of justice. We are dedicated to broad criminal legal reform rooted in restorative justice. We work with and educate lawmakers, communities, and the public about the racist, unjust and ineffectual death penalty system.
EJA's mission is to dismantle the school-to-prison and school-to-deportation pipelines, eliminate the criminalization of Black, Brown, LGBTQ+ students, and students with disabilities and secure educational equity for all students in the public school system.
