This year's ballot measure to change the wording of the state constitution is unnecessary and will not change the law. This pointless bill aims to confuse voters, sow distrust in our elections, and stir up anti-immigrant rhetoric.

The law guarantees every child in the United States equal access to public elementary and secondary education. But the truth is that not every child in America has an equal opportunity to attend public schools.
