Charlotte officials have stonewalled requests for public documents for eight months.

In response to a lawsuit filed today by civil rights advocates, journalists, and protesters, a North Carolina Superior Court judge today granted a temporary restraining order forcing the City of Charlotte to halt the use of force against peaceful demonstrators.
