The ACLU of North Carolina is seeking a Communications Intern for the Fall term. A Communications internship at the ACLU of North Carolina provides students with an opportunity to actively work on multi-media communications and public relations projects addressing a wide variety of civil rights and liberties, including immigrants’ rights, LGBTQ rights, First Amendment, reproductive freedom, and criminal justice reform. The Communications Intern will be expected to work remotely 15 hours per week but may be asked to occasionally meet in person at our office in Durham.

The ACLU-NC Development department is seeking a part-time intern to play a key role in supporting fundraising and donor engagement efforts during a milestone moment, our 60th anniversary year. Reporting to the Development Director, the intern will assist with a variety of projects that fuel our work to advance civil liberties and civil rights across the state.
