This bill prohibits public institutions of higher education, such as the UNC university system and local community colleges, from promoting certain concepts associated with diversity, equity, and inclusion. Also prohibits institutions of higher education from establishing or implementing a process for reporting or investigating offensive or unwanted speech that is protected by the 1st Amendment, including satire or microaggressions.
