Alicia (she/her/hers) is the Development Associate for the ACLU of NC. In her role, Alicia endeavors to support and connect donors to the transformative work done by the staff to advance justice in North Carolina. Through grant writing, database management, and connecting with donors, she works to ensure that folks engaging with the Development Team understand the dynamic ways in which the affiliate is pursuing equity.
Alicia came to the affiliate in October 2020 after earning her BA in Public Policy and History at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. She has held programmatic, development, and finance roles in organizations working to end hunger and poverty in her community. When not working to advance the goals of the ACLU of NC, she enjoys reading, making art, traveling, and sharing fun facts anytime they are tangentially related to the conversation.
